The BioTek Epoch 2 microplate spectrophotometer delivers excellent performance for UV-Vis absorbance measurements. Measurements can be performed in 6- to 384-well microplates, cuvettes, and in microvolume samples. The broad wavelength range enables applications from nucleic acid and protein quantification in the low UV to microbial growth assays at higher wavelengths.

  • - Filter-free UV-Vis wavelength selection from 200 to 999 nm in 1 nm increments: Monochromator-based optics offer a broad wavelength range for applications ranging from nucleic acid and protein quantification to microbial growth assays.

  • - Compatible with 6- to 384-well microplates and cuvettes for assay versatility: The optional cuvette port enables quick and easy 1 cm sample measurements. The system offers versatile choices for assay workflows in a variety of labware. 

  • - Ability to handle a range of research applications: With 4-Zone incubation to 65 °C and Condensation Control, the Epoch 2 Microplate Reader can meet the assay requirements of applications ranging from biofuels research to food and beverage safety and kinetic assays. 

  • - Compatible with ACC’s PyroSmart NextGen® recombinant cascade reagent (rCR): The Epoch 2 is easy to use, and integration with ACC’s Pyros® eXpress software makes it simple to choose predefined endotoxin-specific reagents, including ACC’s PyroSmart NextGen® recombinant cascade reagent (rCR).

  • - The BioTek Epoch 2 Microplate Reader can be used for varied research applications. However, it is designed for research use only and is not intended for use in diagnostic procedures.
